My friend, Jen, inspired me to give a gift a day until Christmas. I love the idea. On December 1st I participated in the "Pay it Forward" day by paying for the guy behind me in the drive through.
It's already 9:15pm and I'm home for the night. Hmm, what should my gift be today? I'll let Blair watch whatever he wants to watch on tv. Oh, wait, we're watching Glee already. Maybe if it was the 100th episode of Deadliest Catch...that we've already seen, it would be a gift, but Glee is what I want to watch too.
...
I just turned to Blair and said if I could give you a gift right now, what would it be? He said, "A camera."
Eeerrr, re-do.
"If I could do something for you right now, what would it be?," I asked with a smile.
"Just be here with me."
Lovely. So tonight I give the gift of being together with my husband.
