Flashback Friday

Susie has been posting a photos for the last few weeks that share a photo from the past and the story to go along with it.  This week was too funny...high lacy collars must have been all the rage circa '84. 

In this photo I have just returned from Christmas Eve services at church...thus the name tag safety pinned to my waste band.  I'm not sure what look this designer was going for...possibly a tuxedo dress, or maybe a good use for a little left over lace.  I don't remember detail for details the moments around this particular photo, but I vividly remember giving my mom a ton of grief when she tried to put me in a dress, and I'm pretty sure I cried if the outfit involved tights.  I preferred knickers...now that is word from the past!
